TiMax is a British immersive pro-audio specialist
Long before it became fashionable for pro audio companies to develop immersive spatial audio solutions, a heady combination of inspiration, theory, technology and experimentation culminated in the late 1990’s with the launch of the TiMax Classic modular rack system.
Since then, TiMax developers Robin Whittaker and Dave Haydon have gone on to create ever more sophisticated products, such as TiMax SoundHub and TiMax Tracker, the success of which lead to the acquisition of TiMax by the Focusrite Group in 2024. The further addition of panLab software suite quickly followed, enabling TiMax to now offer all levels of user and sophistication of application a best-in-class spatialisation solution.
What’s more, TiMax has always been independent in spirit and outlook so our solutions will work with virtually any brand and type of loudspeaker of your choice, with simpler and more flexible system configurations.
