Is upgrade pricing available?

How does a perpetual licence work?

A perpetual licence grants the user access to panLab forever. The perpetual licence also grants the user access to all future software updates for their panLab product. So panLab 2 customers receive all version 2 software updates, and panLab 3 customers receive version 3 updates.

A perpetual licence can be used on one Mac at a time. It is easy to move a licence between Macs using the inbuilt Licence Manager. All that is required is an internet connection at the point a licence is to be activated or deactivated on a Mac.

How does a rental licence work?

A rental licence grants the user full access to all panLab features for 30 days from the date of purchase.

If any software updates are released during the licence period, a rental licence grants access to those updates.

Rental licences are compatible with both panLab 2 and panLab 3.

Does panLab 3 need to run on the same Mac as QLab?

No! One of the great features of panLab is that it works seamlessly over the network. Just make sure you are on the same local network as the QLab Workspace you would like to connect to.

panLab uses Bonjour technology to discover all QLab Workspaces visible on the network, we then use the OSC protocol to communicate with QLab.

Does panLab need to run during performances?

No! panLab is the only spatial audio mixing solution available on the market that does not add a single piece of hardware or software to your sound system during performances. All QLab output level data is stored directly within the QLab cue itself.

panLab only ever needs to be run whilst you are programming your audio. This means that a single panLab licence could be utilised on multiple productions simultaneously.

Can I try panLab for free?

Absolutely, we offer a 7 day free trial right from our website. No payment card details are required and there is absolutely no commitment. All we ask is that you let us know who you are, so we can gain a better understanding of our user base.

The free trial period starts from the first time you run panLab on your Mac.
